Our current goals have served us well, but have seen better days. The plastic components fail over time and due to the contrainst of storage space, they have to be squeezed into each other which ultimately shortens the lifespan of the goals. They are bulk to move and awkard to carry, meaning the nets end up getting damaged. With failed nets and bowed crossbars, we are putting the club at risk of fines for sub-standard matchday eqipment, or even risk a referee abandoing a match.

The goals we require are between £1000 and £1150 each, and we need QTY8 of the 12x6 size and QTY2 of the 16x7 size, to service all pitches in Aston Clinton Park. Also a hardstanding area created to safely store them. The advantage of the goals are many - sturdy metal frames mean no bending/bowing - the nets are secured to the top of the frame so dont get damaged in transit - the goals are supplied with wheels for easy transport to pitches - the goals fold so can be stored in our allocated area

Why do we need to fundraise?
With ever increasing costs our limited budget is squeezed
Fundraising for new goals, even though we charge yearly subs (still amongst the lowest locally), is important for several reasons:
- Yearly Subs Cover Basic Costs: The current subscriptions cover day-to-day operational costs such as footballs, equipment maintenance, fees for using pitches, line marking etc. However, they do not leave room for larger, one-time purchases like new goals, which are expensive.
- Avoiding Fee Increases: Fundraising allows the club to purchase new goals without raising membership fees. By seeking external funding, the club can continue offering affordable memberships while enhancing the experience for everyone.
- Improving Member Experience: New goals can improve the quality of training, practice sessions, and games. Better equipment can enhance player performance, satisfaction, and safety, contributing to a more enjoyable environment for members.
- Long-Term Investment: Goals are a significant, long-term investment. Fundraising ensures that the club can afford durable, high-quality equipment that will last for years, reducing the need for constant replacements and saving money in the long run.
